I'm a 52 year old LDS wife, mother of six and lover of life! I teach, I write, I throw a party for every reason I can think of. I try to make every moment count!

I’m 52, short and sanguine. I’ve enjoyed 33 years of being married to the kindest man you’ll ever meet. We have three grown children and much to our surprise and delight, adopted our three grandchildren, and they are truly our own in every way! So, once the bigs were gone, we became been Mom and Dad AGAIN to the "babes". Starting over wasn’t what we’d always planned, but the babes bring us tremendous joy and we hope to stay young keeping up with them!

I have a passion for life and don’t do anything small. If a job’s worth doing, it’s worth doing GREAT! Journaling and keeping scrapbooks has been my work in progress since I was a teen. Teaching is an even greater passion, whether it’s teaching scrapbooking to women all over America or teaching Relief Society in my home ward. I'm a convert to the LDS church and love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I’m open book about life. What you see is what you get.

A quick scrapbooking resume: I worked for over six years designing and writing for Ivy Cottage Creations and then as Contributing Editor of Scrapbook Trends Magazine. I enjoyed writing a monthly column, as well as creating cards, tags and layouts for the magazine. I’ve taught scrapbooking classes, home management and organizing classes for twenty-five years across the country. I’ve designed and written for several idea books and product manufacturers in the scrapbooking industry, had my own line of paper piecing products and designed over half of Ivy Cottage Cuttouts, pre-made embellishments.

I love cream cheese anything. There’s nothing in life better than a night with food, friends or family and some good laughs! One of my favorite mottos to live by is “Praise Loudly, Blame Softly!”. I believe that everyone has some good in them and that most people are generally "nice".

I'm big on holidays and traditions and any reason that I can find to host a party! I love setting beautiful tables, cooking wonderful meals for friends and family. Life IS a party!
