a few very quick thoughts:
I'm off, bright and early this morning for a root canal. I'll be wearing my iPod, cranking it up loud (s0 as not to hear a thing) to go along with the happy gas (so as not to feel a thing)! Lovely.
- Here's another photo of my favorite Son-in-Law, Buddy. I'm trying really hard to make up for not posting his picture on his birthday here on the blog, can you tell? (Although, I'll never live it down anyway!) I wish this one were in focus more because it's a great shot, but I was laughing too hard at him when I took the picture.
- I got to visit with my granddaughter, Willow,4, on the phone for a few minutes last night. She sang the ABC song for me. I loved it! She has the sweetest little personality.
- Have I mentioned eight dentist visits in the past two weeks for our family. YIKES.
- Tomorrow, I'm taking Kelly to SLC for a doctor's appointment. The surgeon is still trying to correct the problems with the tendon that he stitched while doing her surgery. I did do some checking and hear that he is a reputable and good doctor. This has just not been the best experience of Kelly's life. Doctor, Doctor, Gimme some GOOD news!
- ZJ had a tablescape all set last night when I got home. She had wrapped gifts and put them in layers on the table and then added her little Precious Moments figurines on top of them. The gifts were empty boxes. It was no one birthday. She "just felt like doing it". :D
- It's 22 degrees outside with an 80% chance of snow tomorrow. Happy Spring, Cache Valley!
- My life this week is consumed with parent teacher conferences, visits to the dentist and the doctor. You'd think I was a mom or something.
Life is gooooood! Just because I'm in the mood and have two more minutes to blog before I go, here's ten things that I'm celebrating in life right now:
my continually growing testimony of Jesus Christ
sitting at our dinner table with family for good food and visits and to play fun games
long lunches with girlfriends in the afternoons
reading in bed on my Kindle and the fact that it doesn't even bother Doug's sleep
listening to great music on my Bose dock (everything sounds better on it!)
having a company clean house that we can still live in and enjoy
the anticipation of lovely flowers and cherry tomatoes
"gentle falling snow, yes, even in late April
Miki drops everything and comes running when she sees her Grammie
walking in sunshine!
There are exactly as many special occasions in life
as we choose to celebrate.
glad your son-in-law allowed at least one smily pictures. he's too adorable not to.
