A few quick rambling thoughts this morning because this week just isn't slowing down.
Dad was awakened during chemo by five nurses with balloons, a card and candy bars, congratulating him on being done with that part of his treatments! Six more of radiation and next week, he'll be done. Now, the faith comes in! Prayers are appreciated!
I love a clean house. Just saying.
Maria Shriver is a woman of dignity.
I love Sherrie Dew!
Peanutbutter Chocolate Rice-Krispies are the best! (The kind with Karo syrup, not marshmallows.)
Rain, rain, rain. You make things so green!
Remember the movie about the woman who won a gazillion contests? I wonder if she ever got discouraged? I'm not a big contest enterer. But, it would be fun to win a new kitchen or something more than a spatula at a Tupperware party. Like a trip to Australia. (Oprah must be on my mind.)
I think I'd love a croquet set.
I know I'd love two tickets to the American Idol concert in Salt Lake City. Wonder if they are sold out yet?
Popcycle wrappers everywhere are in my very near future. I want to remember how I longed for them when I'm finding them hidden in remote places.
Cheetos are grey before they add the "agent orange", as Doug calls it. I think I'd prefer to have grey cheetos over orange fingerprints on everything when they eat them.
I want to create a backyard "outdoor room", just for fun, this summer.
Liza and Doug started scraping the paint on our home last weekend. Next weekend, weather permitting, we'll start priming for new paint. I've never liked this grey blue color from the day we bought the house. I heart change. I heart Liza!
I'm in the mood for a haircut. A whole new do. Scary, since I really love ponytails all summer long.
I reallyneed to host a party. It's been months. Where's my mojo?
Oscar Meyer now makes a hotdog with no preservatives or nitrates. Won't Doug be happy!?
Kelly calls a lot lately to come over and just hang out. I love that.
Papa Murphy's taco pizza is pretty tasty, for commercial pizza.
I have to finish this lesson today because the rest of the week is going to be crazy busy!
Enough said!
A wise lover values not so much the gift of the lover as the love of the giver.
we went to the funnest couple party a few months ago. it was called "say cheese", we had a home made quesssida bar- people brought the toppings (grilled veggies, guacamole, chicken, pork etc), there was fruit, salad, salsa and chips, I brought queso. Then the point was bringing old pictures and entering them in the categories "best hair", best prom date, best smile, etc. Then we voted. It was hysterical! Seeing our 80's and 90's hair and clothes. Guessing who people were. Seeing the counselors in the bishop rick with hair down to middle of their backs! It was so fun.....
