I put on some walking/exercise pants today instead of a robe and feel like that was major progress. For the most part, I've spent the last three days lying in the Lazy Boy. I've slept a lot and know way too much about the Casey Anthony trial. Wendy, Mom and Doug have taken care of the kids and meals. I have an appointment with the surgeon on Tuesday and we will see what happens from there. After looking at my tests, my doctor bypassed the gastro doctor and sent me straight to the surgeon. What that means, I have no idea. In the meantime, I'm grateful for friends, my mom and Doug, who are taking care of things. I'll be spending the next few days right where I have been. I had to laugh this morning when it hit me... It was July 6th when I had that emergent surgery three summers ago. I see the surgeon this year on July 6th. Let's pray for a no-repeat! In the meantime, the good news is that I've probably lost ten pounds since Monday morning. Thanks for the continued prayers and good thoughts.
A strong positive attitude will create more miracles than any wonder drug.
Still sending up prayers!
