- Audra asked "How is Max?" Thanks for asking, Audra! Max is doing great! He dropped by last weekend and visited for an hour. Max is Max again! I love his visits and he assured me that when Liza and Buddy move to Arizona, he'll still drop by and see me. We heart Max. His injuries are not visible at all. He ended up having to have a few new teeth because of the impact, but other than that, to look at him, you'd never know that he'd been in an accident that left him so near death just seven months ago. His doctors have cleared him for work, for driving, for school, for everything. He's truly our Miracle Max!
Quayd commented this afternoon, "This sure is a busy week, Mom." It's been crazy, trying to get so much done, on top of catching up on what I've gotten behind on the past few weeks of being under the weather. (Today, I see the GI doc.) The rest of the week will be just as crazy as the beginning!
- Today, I did make time to post Carol's three new summery recipes. MUST tries! All of them! You can find them here!
- I got another new haircut today. Pictures to come. Shorter, more layers.
- Casey Anthony... Who cares where she is now? It's over. Time to move on and focus on something more positive. At this point, it's all getting beyond absurd!
- I miss Grace. A lot! This week may be busy but time is moving slowly! But, I'm sure that she's having the time of her life!
- The best thing about having been sick for the past few weeks is that my capris are all falling off my body! In four weeks, we'll be back to sweaters. Whodathunkit!
- Kelly is really struggling right now. She called the doctor this afternoon and was informed that she has a staff infection. Um, were they planning on calling to let her know this? This whole surgery has gone haywire. I'm not amused. I suggested that she just have them removed completely and forget about it! Enough said about that.
- Actually, not enough said. On Sunday afternoon, after dinner, Zaylee, 2, was finishing up her food. The babes had gone downstairs so it was just grown-ups and her at the table. Kelly called. We chatted for at least five minutes when I said, "How's your b-0-0-b?" At which point, Zaylee, who was eating and totally oblivious, or so we thought, to what was going on in the room, said, "That's my mama." A. She doesn't miss much. B. She's heard nothing but Kelly's surgery for three months. We all busted out laughing!
- I don't like getting up at 4AM but I am loving Doug's for day work weeks!
Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.
thanks for filling us in Max I"m glad he is doing so well....God has something special planned for his life.
