Over the past few months, I've run across this recipe several times. I put it aside and said, "These are a must try!" A few days ago, I tried. They are work. No question. Three different parts of the recipe. A piping tool required. The glaze. And cooking them is a pain because they are such a sticky mess. BUT. OH MY HECK. TRY THEM! They are worth every bother! I figured that it took half an hour to prep everything before I even started pouring the batter on the griddle. Get everything ready first and then begin the process. Oh! And DOUBLE the recipe, for sure! They are divine! I think I actually prefer them to cinnamon rolls! Here's the recipe:
2 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 cup milk
2 Tablespoon oil
2 large eggs
1cup butter, melted
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
4 Tablespoons butter
2 ounces cream cheese
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
For the pancake batter: Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the milk, oil and egg, Whisk until the batter is moistened, but it will still be a bit lumpy.

After hours of technical support and the purchase of a new modem, then sleeping on it... I woke up to internet. I also found out that a neighbor didn't have internet last night, so it sounds like it was a problem in the area, not my modem. I'm just happy to have the internet!

Kelly's having more issues with her "enhancements". I'm to the point of not praying that they get better but that she gets rid of them. This is one prayer that I have little faith to be answered. She still thinks it will all be worth it when she's done.

Liza's last day at the bank is today. Enough said about that. Five more days.

My dad can't stop planning! I'm so excited for Liza and I to head to NC! We're going to the ocean! I've not been to Myrtle Beach since I was a little girl! Woohooo!

It's thundering and lightning fiercely outside right now. I love the rainy nights! Bring it on!
